Job Purpose
To support the Company in maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate governance requirements and internal policies, and to assist in implementing an effective compliance framework across the Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the Company’s and employees’ compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Prepare and implement the annual compliance plan under the guidance of management.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and testing to assess adherence to applicable requirements, policies and procedures.
- Identify compliance gaps and weaknesses, recommend corrective actions and follow up with relevant departments until closure.
- Maintain a compliance obligations and action tracker and follow up on regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
- Monitor relevant regulatory developments and coordinate with Legal and concerned departments on required actions.
- Prepare and deliver compliance training and awareness sessions to employees and maintain training records.
- Support the review and update of compliance-related policies and procedures.
- Maintain records of compliance incidents, conflicts of interest and other relevant compliance matters.
- Assist in reviewing and following up on reported or suspected compliance breaches and escalate material matters.
- Prepare periodic compliance reports covering key findings, risks, breaches, testing results and corrective actions.
- Support the preparation of the Company’s annual Corporate Governance Report and other compliance-related regulatory submissions.
- Perform other compliance-related duties assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in compliance.
- Good analytical, reporting and communication skills.
- Ability to review processes, identify compliance gaps and follow up on corrective actions.
- Good presentation skills and ability to deliver employee training.
- Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
