Detailed Job Description

  • Perform MLT for Non-sterile products (Raw material, Packaging material, Semi-finished product) and related documentation.
  • Perform Bioburden test for Prefiltration samples and related documentation.
  • Perform water testing, releasing and related documentation.
  • Perform microbiology lab supporting activity and related documents.
  • Perform microbiology culture testing (Maintaining, sub-culturing, GPT) and related documents.
  • Results entry through SAP system.
  • Monitor temperature of area and equipment through Vaisala/SIRIUS system.
  • Ensure to maintain online compliance and documentation in all assigned works.
  • Involve in Internal and External Audits.
  • Ensure to maintain online compliance and documentation in all assigned works.
  • Follow safety precautions and good laboratory practices in the working area.
  • Follow data integrity and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Prepare SOPs and microbiology Qualification / validation documents.
  • Report any deviations/OOS/OOL/excursions observed.
  • Handling eQMS Activities through Amplelogic system.
  • Execute daily operations in compliance with EMS and HSE standards, using appropriate PPE and safe practices. 
  • Identify, reduce, and prevent environmental impacts and operational risks. 
  • Contribute to EHS activities, audits, and continual improvement initiatives.
    Qualification/ Functional Knowledge
  • BSc/Master’s degree in microbiology or any biological science.
  • 0-3 years experience in pharmaceutical microbiology lab.
  • Proficient with computer software application (MS word, MS excel, PPT).
