Job Summary/Main Purpose

The Manager - Data, Analytics and AI, manages and oversees business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advice and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. These insights are often used for decision making and strategic planning across high levels of business.

Leads on developing processes for effective data analysis and reporting the implementation of new organizational processes, following IT, AI strategies and Roadmaps that enable Julphar to manage business objectives, there by contributing to Julphar’s vision of providing a better healthcare and to be a leader in pharmaceutical sector in the region.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead Data, Analytics and AI standardization across organization.
• Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
• Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
• Design and build technical processes to address business issues.
• Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyse business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
• Train, develop and supervise analyst-level employees.
• Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
• Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining, and engineering as well as modeling, visualization, and communication deliverables.
• Examine, interpret, and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing, and product teams.
• Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
• Develop and deploy quality AI solutions (Gen AI, Built in AI, AgenticAI), to meet organizational requirements.
• Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.
• Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
• Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Assume ownership of project deliverables and day-to-day management of entire project from the beginning to end.
• Facilitate communication with the global team and help conflict resolution, if conflicts arise, escalate issues, and seek resolution.
• Facilitate sign offs and Completion of Trainings within the stipulated project timelines.
• Performing quality control on the project throughout to maintain the standards expected.
• Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
• Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
• Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
• Obtaining Business acceptance of project deliverables.
• Managing Business satisfaction within the project transition period.
• Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• SAP ERP Integrations, Data warehouse management.
• Develop and manage PowerBI solutions, using Microsoft fabric enterprise platform.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Attributes)

Essential:

• A strong background in SAP Analytics with Finance and Sales background, preferably 10+ years.
• Experience of 8+ years of different Business Intelligence Projects including SAP SAC and other Analytic tool.
• PowerBI experience with knowledge in Microsoft Fabric
• Experience in implementing AI specific solutions
• Comfort using your business’s ERP and project management software.
• 5+ years of experience managing midsize teams.
• Capacity to comfortably advising senior-level management.
• Able to provide a level of strategic system advice.
• Able to integrate with different and complex SAP modules.
• Experience in complex Projects, Data management with multiple integrations.
• Able to create and advise on project objectives.
• Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Experienced in leading, facilitating and contributing to project workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
• Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.

Desirable:

• Strong programming skills with querying languages.
• Experience with big data and Testing tools
• Experience with data visualization tools: Js, SAC.
• C, C++, JAVA, or other programming languages
• Experience with Excel, Word, Power-BI and PowerPoint.
• Experience with any specific AI development tools, RPA development tools.

Qualifications:

Desirable:

• A bachelor’s degree or master's degree in a IT or relevant field.
• SAP SAC certification.
• Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
• Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
• Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analysing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
• Experience and knowledge of statistical modeling techniques: GLM multiple regression, logistic regression, log-linear regression, variable selection, etc.
• Experience writing advanced SAS code statements, models, and macros.
• Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.
• Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
• Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
