Title:  Sr.Specialist- SAP MM & EWM Consultant

Job Summary/Main Purpose:

 

An experienced SAP Material Management, WMS and EWM Consultant with a strong Pharma industry background in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The consultant will have extensive knowledge of SAP MM and EWM modules, coupled with an understanding of GMP requirements within the pharmaceutical or related industries. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize SAP processes, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and streamline warehouse operations.

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Utilize expertise in SAP Material Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) modules to design, configure, and implement solutions that align with business requirements.
  • Lead workshops and gather requirements from stakeholders to define functional specifications for SAP MM and WM enhancements.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate SAP configurations, ensuring accuracy and reliability of system functionalities.
  • Provide guidance and support to end users on SAP MM and WM processes, troubleshooting issues and optimizing system utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and quality assurance, to streamline material flow and warehouse operations.
  • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory standards within SAP processes and warehouse operations.
  • Expertise in Track and Trace solutions (Serialization, Aggregation) and integrations with Warehouse systems.
  • Continuously assess and improve SAP MM and WM functionalities to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to SAP MM, WM, and GMP requirements, incorporating relevant advancements into the company's processes.
  • Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and change management activities related to SAP MM and WM implementations or upgrades.
  • Interact with Business to understand the business requirements to conclude design, configuration, testing, migration, support, and continuous enhancements.
  • Understand the technology landscape and how it affects the business; trends associated with the technology; functional area and industries and the value propositions.
  • Design and build technical processes to address business issues.
  • Assume ownership of project deliverables and day-to-day management of entire tasks from the beginning to end.
  • Facilitate sign offs and Completion of Trainings within the stipulated project timelines.
  • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
  • Obtaining Business acceptance of project deliverables.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Attributes)

 

  • A strong Supply chain background in Pharma industry, preferably 8+ years.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP MM and WM, EWM functionalities, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Proven track record of successful SAP implementations, preferably in GMP-regulated environments.
  • Experience in complex Projects, Data management with multiple integrations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
  • Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/GxP and regulatory requirements, particularly in the pharmaceutical or related industries.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) as a SAP Consultant specializing in Material Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM), EWM modules.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to lead workshops, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality results within budget constraints

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA certification in Material Management (MM) and/or Warehouse Management (WM) is preferred.
  • Experience with Office 365 tools, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
