Title:  Strategic Projects Associate

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.
  • Lead and motivate a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the achievement of targets and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Drive the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, including product expansions, collaborations, and strategic alliances.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of proposals, bids, and contracts, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
  • Develop pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and implement initiatives to maximize revenue streams and profitability.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business development performance, regularly evaluating progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, compliance standards, and ethical business practices in all business development activities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align business development efforts with overall company strategies and objectives.

Requirements/Skills:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience 5-9 years in a similar leadership role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of driving successful business development initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, including industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets and objectives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
