Position Overview

The FP&A team leader t will be responsible for supporting the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting deliverables. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing insightful reports, and providing decision-making support to management. The FP&A team leader will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial planning and performance monitoring.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance versus budget/forecast, highlighting variances and trends.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and business initiatives.
  • Provide management with actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Partner with business units to understand drivers of revenue, cost, and profitability.
  • Support preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in monitoring KPIs and financial metrics.
  • Perform the Feasibility studies for any new CAPEX requested.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all FP&A deliverables.
  • Collaborate with accounting and other functions to improve processes and reporting efficiency.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • Professional certification such as CMA is an advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning or budgeting (preferably in a pharmaceuticals company).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP system is an advantage).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
