Title:  Senior Medical Representative

Job Summary/Purpose:

The Senior Medical Information Officer is in charge of developing relationships with pharmacists and doctors to promote the products of the company and to achieve Target Sales. He/she assist the Sales manager in some tasks especially conducting refreshment sessions for newly joined Medical information officers and usually delegated to handle some major accounts. 

Main Responsibilities: 

• Analyzes his territory; assess sales volume and business opportunities.

• Assists Sales line manager in handling some major accounts and in conducting refreshment sessions for newly joined medical information officers.

• Conducts promotional visits to his customer (Pharmacies, Doctors, Hospitals ... ) on regular basis for the sake of building long tern business relationship and to achieve the company quantitative and qualitative objectives.

• Organizes under supervision of sales line managers, medical group meeting at different hospitals.

• Represents the company in local medical conferences for the sake of promotion, strengthen the relations and emphasis our position in the market.

• Executes a strategic business plan.

• Presents product lines, respond to concerns and questions of customers

• Organizes informational sessions, develop partnerships

• Ensures administrative follow-up

• Promotes various Julphar Pharmaceutical Products and provide the health care professionals with the latest studies and protocols.

• Sets strategies and plans to improve the sales and achieve the goals. • Achieves the marketing and sales targets. 

• Communicates on daily basis with the sales team for the sake of target sales achievement and better customer coverage and satisfaction.

• Attends training as per Julphar training center schedules.

• Reports on regular basis to the sales line manager.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Attributes)

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biology or other medical related sciences is required to work as a pharmaceutical sales representative.

• At least five years working experience as medical information officer for Julphar.

• Attended year to date training sessions scheduled by Julphar training center.

• Possess an interest for the sciences and the pharmaceutical industry.

• Have Master sales strategy in general, ideally relating to pharmaceuticals .

• Possess a good foundation in computer skills.

• Bilingualism (Arabic& English or French).

• Dynamic, flexible, hard worker, and has sense of urgency, organised and punctual. • Fast learner, has good communication skills.

• Must be a "people person".

• Must have tact and diplomacy.

• Excellent Intellectual curiosity.

• Excellent Methodical and analytical sense.
