Title:  Team Leader - Planning

Specialist – Planning: The role holder will be responsible to plan and prepare schedules (monthly) for the production for the injectable. Responsible for the planning and scheduling to establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to confirmed Sales orders while ensuring the availability of the required Packaging Material and the overall objective is to maintain a safe, secure, and productive environment for co-employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Collects the market requirements on monthly basis from SAP and to confirm the priorities and shipping dates from shipping dept.
• Calculates the no. of batches and to prepare the monthly plan considering the market priorities and shipping schedule & to assign the batch nos.
• Ensures that, the assistant planners will create the process orders as per the plan and will create the purchase requisitions for the material shortages.
• Responsible for the follow up with the Supply Chain dept. for the timely delivery of materials which are required for production as per the priorities.
• Responsible to follow up and co-ordinate with production and packaging to ensure that the product will be available for dispatch as per the plan and the shipping schedule.
• Raises Purchase Requisitions as per the requirements ensuring timely delivery of the packaging Material in line with production and packaging planning requirements.

Qualifications / Key Experiences / Functional Knowledge Requirements

• 4 years bachelor’s degree in Logistics/ Business Administration / any other relevant field.
• At least 5-6 years’ experience in similar organization in pharma / Health care / Medical Industry.
• Should have handled similar position for a better fitment in this role.
• Fluent in English (communicating, writing, and speaking) is mandatory & Arabic as advantage.
• Excellent in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, etc.).
